Terms of use

Updated 16 September 2026

This page describes how the service actually works today. The definitive contractual terms are being drawn up with legal counsel; where they differ, they prevail. No identifiable patient photograph is processed until the framework applicable to the practice's country has been validated.

The service

NewSmile lets a dental practice produce an aesthetic projection from a photograph of a smile, compare it with the original photograph, and share it with the person concerned.

The service is intended for oral health professionals and their teams. It is not intended for private individuals.

Account and access

Access is by invitation. Each member has a named account and a role that determines what they can see and do. Credentials are not to be shared.

The practice is responsible for the access it grants and for withdrawing it when a member leaves.

Included simulations and overage

Each plan includes a number of simulations per month. During the trial, generation pauses at zero simulations: no overage is possible and nothing is charged.

On a plan, the practice is emailed as soon as the last included simulation is used. The pricing terms of any overage are communicated to it before any additional billing.

Billing

Prices shown exclude tax; the applicable tax is calculated at checkout. The currency is chosen before subscribing and cannot be changed on an active subscription.

The subscription renews at term. It can be cancelled at any time from the billing area, taking effect at the end of the current period.

Expected use

The practice undertakes to upload only photographs it is entitled to process, and to inform the person concerned of the use made of them.

It is forbidden to use the service to produce a misleading image presented as a guaranteed outcome, or to process someone's photograph without their agreement.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of aesthetic outcome. A simulation is indicative and does not commit the practitioner to the result of a treatment.

A technical interruption or the unavailability of the generation provider gives no right to compensation beyond a pro rata refund for the period concerned.
